Pages built on a claim this project withdrew on 14 July 2026.
Every page below argues for, or rests on, the claim that structured persistent memory is the proximate driver of identity continuity. That claim was retracted by its author after he ran the validity checks his own paper had promised.
They are not deleted, and they will not be. That claim was sent to forty-one journalists, carried by two wire services, and deposited under a permanent DOI. A claim that went out of the house does not get to vanish because it became inconvenient — and a project whose entire argument is “check what you are told” does not get to quietly edit its own past. They are marked, unlinked from the live site, kept out of search, and listed here.
The measurements and raw transcripts in these pages are unaffected — the data never changed. What changed is the statistical test applied to it, and what the result was allowed to mean.

Two things from that period are not superseded and remain in use:
- The frozen protocol and its SHA-256 — hashed 23 April 2026, archived by a third party the next day. Still verifiable, still the strongest thing this project has.
- The OSF deposit and its DOI — permanent and citable. An errata is in preparation.
